2022年8月16日 · Not sure how well this is known, but just in case, there is a workaround to order a la carte via the McDonald's app if needed. Whether it's a manager or store that refuses to charge the individual prices, this should enable you to order and pay through the app. I found this video recently and tried it today:

The last time I had a McDonald's cheeseburger was on Christmas day (don't ask) and I did not notice a difference in the flavor. I don't actually consider the McDonald's cheeseburger a BURGER-burger (by which I mean, when I'm in the mood for a burger, McDonald's never enters my mind as a consideration), but I do like them.

2024年5月15日 · McDonald's not doing free refills anymore makes them literally the only restaurant not doing it. Not a good look for the restaurant that already has the literal highest inflation gouging. They're gonna scare their remaining customers off. I don't think they realize how many former customers that they've already lost, who will not be returning.

In addition to the cleanliness issues mentioned again, there were a ton of other factors: liability/safety issues; McDonald’s getting hammered from a PR perspective for marketing to children; Covid; and a huge, underrated reason, in my opinion, with phones and tablets, kids had easier ways of being occupied and entertained while parents ate.

Y’all I really did it. I finally completed the entire McDonalds collection. 🥲 I managed to get about 90% of them the first week but the remaining few ended up taking a while as I was checking ebay/Mercari on the daily just to find them and eventually I did.

Not deep fried anymore. The ones you have are probably baked. There was a massive lawsuit against McDs due to people burning their mouths on apple pies because they were deep fried back then, pulled out of the oil and kept hot under a heat lamp that was hot enough to keep the oil inside the pastry too hot.
