People who jailbroke their device were able to install 3rd party applications. iPhone OS 1 doesn’t and never did have any apps. Upgrade to iPhone OS 2 to get AppStore functionality. there was no stock app store, jailbreaking enabled third-party apps.

2020年6月6日 · I managed to downgrade my iphone 2g to 1.1.4. I cannot activate normally, so I hactivated it, which gave me the option to jailbreak in the process, so I did. I opened cydia and it does not refresh sources due to known https cert issue. I want to install cydiahttpfix, but the installed cydia version does not let me edit sources.

Definitely pull in some of the videos from apple's launches of iPhone 1 and 3G, screens will be there, and the "2.0 roadmap" event at wwdc. 2022年12月11日 · Yes, 1.1 and 1.1.1 had the shiny dock. Probably because of the Mac OS X Leopard redesign at the time. I’m not sure why they changed it to the cheese grater only to revert it in iOS 4. Even weirder is that only the iTouch on 1.1 and 1.1.1 had this dock, the iPhone 2G kept the cheese grater dock. But ngl both designs look great

[Question] Are there any iPhone OS 1.2 IPSWs for the iPhone 2G
As of 2018, two versions of iOS were never released. iPhone OS 1.2, which after the first beta was replaced by a 2.0 version number; the second beta was named 2.0 beta 2 instead of 1.2 beta 2. iOS Version History Wikipedia. Found this on the Wiki page for iOS version history. Maybe it is floating around as it was deemed a beta.
