2013年11月29日 · If it weren't for worse fuel economy than the 2.2, I'd take it over the 2.2. First gen vs. second gen is mostly going to be a technology and styling change. Older engines would be easier to work on and tune, but newer ones are going to have better features, power, and fuel economy. [Mac] 2000 Chevy S10 2.2 auto.

I currently have 235-75r15 wheels, which I think is too wide, being hard on front end parts, so I'm going with a narrower wheel, likely the 205-75r16, instead of the 15", if they make a 16" in 205, or 215, because it's getting hard to find an affordable 15" in 31" tall. So I'm researching.

There's also a very short bed on the Quadcab truck, but IDK it's dimensions. 1996 2.2, 5 speed, std cab, Sonoma. Teamsters Local 1150 :flipoff:

Ya i am getting metul munky's zr2 axle for my BB possibly next week, because to the addition to my front suspension it is now 4.5" wider on each side so the Z rear end will compliment it truely. Runs consistent 9.5Xs on the bottle and mid 10s N/A. 1984 RCSB S-10 (In Progress) LQ4/PRC LS6 HEADS/FAST 102/TSP 233-239/T56/LS7 CLUTCH/8.8 REAR. .

5 posts · Joined 2009. #1 · Jan 19, 2009. I have a 1989 S-10 with a 4.3 V-6 automatic transmission. I left the house Friday and got about a half mile down the road and it just died. It has no power what so ever. No lights, no radio, no dome light, and no door chime. Its like there is no battery in the truck at all.
