Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes Walk was held at Sloan Park in Mesa and FOX 10's Ron Hoon and Syleste Rodriguez were there to help walk for a cure.

State Route 87 was closed for the Slate Fire burning just south of Payson. The roadway has since reopened.
