New York Giants offensive assistant Christian Daboll, the son of head coach Brian Daboll, has resigned from his position and left the team to "pursue other avenues." The departure was first reported by Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News.

Thomas, 50, becomes the third running back coach in three years to leave Daboll’s staff voluntarily after only one season with the organization.

This is the time of year when the New York Giants will rely on why they hired Brian Daboll as head coach, and a big reason he's still here for Year 4.
