Two Saturdays ago, Bubba Cunningham sat on national television saying that Michigan State was close to making the Division I Men’s Basketball Committee’s top 16 teams in an early look at the NCAA tournament bracket.

The Michigan State Spartans have control at the top of the Big Ten. With four games remaining there are multiple scenarios where the Spartans can clinch their first conference title in five years.

Michigan State basketball enters the last two weeks of the regular season atop the Big Ten standings. But the Spartans aren't alone in the title hunt.
