The odds of a city-killer asteroid impact in 2032 keep rising. Should we be worried?
Two weeks ago, when Ars first wrote about the asteroid, designated 2024 YR4, NASA's Center for Near Earth Object Studies estimated a 1.9 percent chance of an impact with Earth in 2032.
