DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — A Liberian-flagged cargo ship attacked by Yemen’s Houthi rebels sank Wednesday in the Red Sea, with a European naval force in the Mideast saying that only six of 25 people who were on board have been rescued.
Crew members aboard a Liberian-flagged ship set ablaze by a series of attacks in the Red Sea have abandoned the vessel as it took on water.
Israel says its military has attacked Houthi targets at three ports and a power plant in Yemen. Defence minister Israel Katz confirmed the strikes, saying they were carried out due to repeated attacks on Israel.
