The Chiefs first seven games are against the Los Angeles Chargers, the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders. If Rice is suspended seven games, he would be able to make his return on October 27 against the Washington Commanders .

Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice won't be going to trial for the March 2024 multi-vehicle crash in Dallas. Rice on Thursday pleaded guilty to two third-degree felony charges as part of a plea agreement with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office.

"After the collision, Mr. Rice failed to check on the welfare of the victims and fled on foot," Dallas County prosecutors said.
