The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is expected to release its preliminary report this week on the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, which resulted in the deaths of at least 260 people.

According to sources, the report is expected to provide the sequence of events before the accident, a detailed description of the accident, and the steps so far in the investigation, along with any notable findings that may have come to light this far.

While the report from investigators could be made public on Friday, the three sources cautioned Reuters that plans could change and there was no clarity on how much information would be available in the document,
