Inbar referenced the nuclear archives smuggled out of Iran and revealed by Israel in 2018, which showed that prior to 2003, Iran had built and tested nearly every component of a nuclear bomb.

With regard to the three largest deployable nuclear arsenals, Russia had 4,310 warheads, a decrease of 0.8 percent from 2018, while the U.S. possessed 3,700, a decrease of 2.6 percent.

Around 3,904 of these warheads were mounted on missiles and aircraft – 60 more than in the same month a year earlier. According to the report, the rest were kept in centralized storage facilities.

China's nuclear arsenal has expanded to at least 600 warheads—an increase of 100 in just one year. All of the warheads are considered ready for use, with 24 reportedly deployed.
