Future badminton stars took center stage at the Kids’ Badminton Tournament held at Centro Atletico Badminton Court in Cubao, Quezon City on February 8.

The teams: There are three classifications for para badminton: wheelchair, standing and short stature. Men and women compete in single and double matches for a total of 14 different events!

She married New Zealand-based Rupinder Virk, who played badminton. Together, they have two children who play badminton at the national level. That makes for a passionately sporty family.
