Colorado Springs will send out ballots for its April municipal election without a question about overturning legalized recreational pot sales after courts invalidated the ballot measure.

Colorado Springs agreed Thursday to remove the question repealing the recreational marijuana rules for the city after El Paso County District Court ordered they "take all actions necessary" to drop the question.

An attempt to overturn a recent citywide vote allowing recreational marijuana sales in Colorado Springs has been delayed.
