Last week, for about a day, boxing had what was sure to be a huge pay-per-view draw on the table when ESPN reported that the undisputed super middleweight champion, Canelo Alvarez, and Jake Paul were finalizing a deal for a fight in May 2025 in Las Vegas.

One man who has made it clear that he would be willing to face Paul is former unified super-middleweight world champion Carl Froch, who has been involved in a war of words with ‘The Problem Child’ over the last few months. Speaking recently about the situation, ‘The Cobra’ once again stated he would fight Paul for free.
