Temperatures fell below freezing at about 5 p.m. on Sunday and are expected to stay there until around 11 a.m. Friday, putting Denver on track to see nearly 115 hours of frigid temperatures.

A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day will be in effect Wednesday as chilly temperatures below freezing continue across much of northeast Colorado.

Clouds will linger through most of Tuesday, with some light flakes still falling. Temperatures will stay near the 20-degree mark, and the Denver weather forecast shows negative wind chill values.
