Myles Garrett, the league’s most talented, athletic, and versatile pass rusher is demanding a trade to a contender with the goal of winning a Super Bowl before his career winds down. This should have been in Cleveland.

On Monday, one of the league’s best edge rushers, Myles Garrett, requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns as he looks to take on a new challenge. That challenge is to compete for a Super Bowl. That begs the question, can the Falcons make a move for Garrett?

The Browns technically have the leverage for now. Garrett is under contract for two more seasons at a modest $19.7m cap hit for the upcoming season. Trading teams would get him at a good cost but the Browns would have to eat $36m in dead cap to move him, adding incentive not to do so.
