MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Kremlin said on Thursday that there is political will on both the Russian and U.S. sides to find a settlement and end the Ukraine war, after presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump spoke on Wednesday. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was premature to discuss timings for an in-person meeting of the two leaders.

The Kremlin said on Thursday that it was impressed by U.S. President Donald Trump's position on ending the war in the Ukraine, and added that preparations were under way for a bilateral meeting between Trump and Putin.
